How do I create a new user account?

In order to register for classes online, you must have a registration account with classes.bbg.org. Creating an account allows you to enroll in classes, view your registration history, update your address, and more.

You can go to our Sign up page to create a new account. Note: You must have an email address to set up an account with us.

How do I register for a class?

  1. Select the Class - Find the class you want to enroll in on our View all Classes page and click the class name to see a full description.

  2. Add to Enrollment Cart - On the class description page, click the "Enroll" button to start the registration process.

  3. Logon - Log on to the system. Note: if you're already logged on, this step will be skipped. If you do not yet have a registration account with classes.bbg.org, you will be prompted to create one.

  4. Select Class Options - Select any optional class fee options.

  5. Add More Classes - If you are enrolling in other classes, click the Add Another Class button and repeat steps 1, 2, and 4. Otherwise, continue to step 6.

  6. Register for Selected Classes - Once you have added all the desired classes to your Enrollment Cart, click the Proceed to Checkout button to continue the registration process.

  7. Enter Supplemental Data - If the class you selected has additional registration information requirements, the Supplemental Data page now opens. After entering any necessary information, click the Submit button to continue.

  8. Make Payment - Enter your payment information then click the Submit Payment button (or select the Bill Me button if invoicing is allowed).

    Important Note for those paying by Credit Card: A Wait page will be displayed while the system is waiting for credit card approval. DO NOT move away from this page (click your Back button, select another URL, etc.) until the process is completed. If you do, the approval process is aborted and you WILL NOT be enrolled in the class.

  9. Print Confirmation Page - The Registration Confirmation page notifys you that you are enrolled in the class(s). Print a copy of the registration confirmation for your records. A confirmation email with the registration specifics is also sent to your email address. At this time, you can safely log off the system.

How do I enroll my child in a Children's Garden class?

  1. Log on - First, log on to (or create) your own account.

  2. Select the Class - Look up the class in which you want to enroll your child. Click the Enroll Someone Else button.

  3. Select the Child to Enroll - The Proxy Registration page opens for you to select the individual to enroll.
    • If you have previously enrolled other individuals through Proxy Registration, a list will appear. If the child you want to register is listed, select them.
    • If not, enter your email address then click the OK button.

  4. Confirm Proxy Info - The Proxy Registration/Account Details page opens next.
    • If you selected an individual from the list, their account details will be displayed. Click the Confirm Proxy Info and Continue button to continue the registration.
    • If you entered an email address for an existing account, you will be told if the email is associated with other records. If the individual you want to enroll is listed, select them and click the Confirm Proxy Info and Continue button to continue the registration.
    • Otherwise, select the New Name Record link to create a new record:
      - First populate the fields by clicking the Your Personal Data button, then complete the form.
      - Once you've entered your child's data, click the Confirm Proxy Info and Continue button to continue the registration.

  5. Continue Your Registration - You'll now continue the regular registration process. Note that some classes will request supplemental data during the registration checkout.

How do I get my BBG Member discount?

Most classes list both member and nonmember rates. BBG members can select the member rate during the checkout process. Not yet a member? Join now and you'll be eligible to take classes at the member rate. Please note that discounts on children's classes require a family- or higher-level membership.)

Which methods of payment do you accept online?

Visa, Mastercard, and American Express.

How do I cancel a registration?

Notify the Registration Office at registration@bbg.org at least five business days before the start date of the class or trip, and BBG will refund your fee less $15. If you must withdraw fewer than five days before the class, BBG will refund your fee only if your space can be filled from a waiting list. No refunds, transfers, or credits are given after the start date.

If BBG must cancel a course, you will be notified as early as possible and will receive a full refund. BBG cancels classes with insufficient registration approximately one week before the start date, so register early!

How can I find out what classes I'm registered in?

To see a list of classes in which you are enrolled, visit your Registration History page then click the appropriate button:
  • Upcoming classes - View a list of your upcoming classes with dates and location
  • Completed classes - View a list of completed classes with the hours/ceus/grades earned

What should I know about class meetings?

All students must bring their confirmation to the Garden for admittance to each class session. Report to the security desk at the 1000 Washington Avenue entrance and you will be directed to your classroom. For drivers, the parking lot is located at 900 Washington Avenue. Allow 5 to 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the Education building.

Please be kind to your fellow classmates. Turn off your cell phone while you are in adult classes, and please do not bring children or babies unless it is a family class and they are registered. No guests or pets.
