Friday City Farmers Section A (Grades 1-2)
Fall is harvest time in the Children's Garden! Each group will plant and tend their own garden plots, then harvest buckets of squash, tomatoes, peppers, and greens and cook them into seasonal treats. Kids learn to slow down, get muddy, and appreciate the rhythms of nature. Many weeks, children will bring home harvest bags with fresh produce for the family to share. Parents rave, "A hidden gem…the best children's program in Brooklyn!"
