Plants That Move

Class: Working with Plants That Move. Photo by Morrigan McCarthy.

Do you wonder how a morning glory knows when to open or how a sunflower follows the sun? Ever seen a sensitive plant leaf fold when you touched it? Delve into the different ways plants can move—from tropism to nastic movement—and how you can use plants to create your own moving garden. You’ll take home two moving plants as well as an informative handout.
