Indigo plants are used to create an iconic blue pigment that has been used to dye fabrics for centuries. In this class, students will learn about the history, science, and process of indigo dyeing, while experimenting with an all-natural indigo dye vat. Students will bring their own fabrics to dye and will take home a unique piece. vat.

Notes:Bring your own materials: Please come to class with approximately one yard of fabric and/or small clothing items. Upcycled fabric like clothes, sheets, pillow cases, etc are encouraged! It is important that the material is made out of 100% natural fibers such as cotton, silk, wool, rayon, linen. Synthetics like polyester or nylon will not dye.

In order to receive a refund, you must cancel your enrollment at least five business days prior to the class start date. You will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. No Exceptions.
