Native Tree Workshop for the Urban Gardener—ON-SITE

Discover New York City’s native trees and what they can bring to your backyard garden. The class will tour BBG’s grounds to see a wide variety of native trees. Topics covered will include planting site requirements, ecological benefits, and selecting native species for desired traits. We’ll also discuss the future of these trees in a changing climate.
