Getting to Know Orion
Class: Night Sky Tours: Getting to Know Orion. Photo by Mouser.

Get to know one of humanity’s most beloved constellations, Orion. Learn how different cultures have seen this collection of stars, how to identify it, and about its deep-sky objects like the eerie Horsehead Nebula.

If it is clear, we will view this seasonal delight through a telescope. In case of cloudy weather, activities to hone your star-gazing skills will take place in the classroom. Rain or shine, discover the heavenly wonders revealed as the sun goes down in the city.
