Mushroom season is just around the corner! On this walk we will search the grounds of BBG for early mushrooms and discuss the basics of mushroom location, identification, edible and toxic properties, medicinal uses, and especially ecology—since understanding the role of fungus in the environment is an essential part of finding and identifying mushrooms. This class meets rain or shine.
