Native plants play a critical role in ecosystems but are tremendously underutilized in most landscapes. Learn how to successfully use the right regional native plants in any landscape. This class will cover native plant communities, site suitability, native alternatives to invasives, dioecious versus monoecious plants, natives for wildlife, etc.

This course is an elective for the Certificate in Horticulture and not required. It is offered as a supplement for people who plan to pursue a career in the horticulture industry and for highly motivated home gardeners who want an in-depth understanding of plants and gardening. Registration for Winter/Spring Continuing Education classes will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 4.

In order to receive a refund, you must cancel your enrollment at least five business days prior to the class start date. You will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. No Exceptions.
