Herbaceous Landscape Plant ID, Section C - BLENDED
Herbaceous plants accentuate other features in the landscape, and when used effectively, they can provide almost year-round interest. Learn identification methods and landscape uses of 50 perennials and annuals commonly used in the urban landscape, including native plants. This blended class will meet twice weekly, with one virtual lecture and one in-person tour on BBG grounds per week. Please check the notes section of this listing for the full schedule. This course requires a significant amount of memorization, it is not recommended to take this course at the same time as Woody Landscape Plant Identification.
This course is one of eight required for the Certificate in Horticulture—a program is designed for people who plan to pursue a career in the horticulture industry and for highly motivated home gardeners who want an in-depth understanding of plants and gardening. For more information, please visit the Certificate in Horticulture webpage.
