Soil Basics: Using Compost to Revitalize your Soil


The key to beautiful, healthy plants is the soil in which they grow. In this workshop, learn the basics of soil structure, soil-amendment secrets, the underworld critters that abound, and the importance of organic matter and composting for healthy soil. As a fall focus, we discuss what to do with leaves, the benefits of mulching, and which cover crops will protect and improve your garden's soil.

Registration for Winter/Spring Continuing Education classes will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 4.

In order to receive a refund, you must cancel your enrollment at least five business days prior to the class start date. You will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. No Exceptions.
