She then spent 12 years as the Program Coordinator at Battery Park City Parks Conservancy, overseeing the children's garden and youth program there. She also coordinated the Urban Farm Project, helping develop urban farms on NYCHA property with AmeriCorps members. She has a Master's degree in education from Bank Street. Ellen loves plants and children, and she looks forward to showing you all the fun and unique plants in the garden. |
