Watercoloring Variegated Leaves (ONLINE)
Learn to navigate the difference between color transitions and graphic elements, while differentiating highlight and shadow using watercolor. In the first part of this class, we will look at different approaches we can take in introducing colors and tonal values to each other on the page, and better learn how to apply those techniques. In the second part of the lesson, we will make a painting, either from your own plant or from the photo reference provided by the instructor. There will be in-depth and descriptive painting demonstrations.
