Spring Blooms Watercolor Workshop
Class: Spring Bloom Watercolor Workshop. Image: Kamilla Talbot, Almond Blossoms; 2014.
This class focuses on seasonal blooms like forsythia and tulips using loose and controlled watercolor techniques. Formal elements of painting such as composition, tone, and color will be pursued, while maintaining an appreciation for the immediacy and fluidity of watercolor. Individual attention and group critiques will help each student develop their own voice. All levels are welcome, although prior drawing experience is helpful. This class will sometimes be held outdoors, weather permitting, so please dress accordingly.
