Come on a microbial adventure at the Garden and learn to recognize the signs of microbial life that exist all around you. Get an introduction to microscopy, with a hands-on workshop preparing samples and observing them though the microscope. Bring along your camera or smart phone to take pictures and videos of the microbial world viewed through the magnifying lens.
Microscopes provided by the New York Microscopical Society—a not for profit educational organization dedicated to study, instruction and practice of microscopy and microanalysis.
