Compost and Compost Tea for Professional Gardeners

The NYC Compost Project in Brooklyn is pleased to bring Peter Schmidt, a certified soil food web advisor and cofounder of Compostwerks, for a daylong workshop on making compost and compost tea. This workshop is geared toward professionals in horticulture, landscaping, and agriculture. Attendees will learn the biology and soil food web methodology to make high-quality compost and brew compost tea. Coffee, tea, and light snacks will be provided; bring a bag lunch or purchase food at BBG’s Terrace Café. Space is limited to 20 people.
