Starting a Sketchbook Nature Journal - ON-SITE
Keeping a journal can teach us to notice and appreciate the ever-changing beauty of nature around us. Beginning with a short meditative exercise and drawing demonstration, you will write and illustrate your daily story. You’ll also learn how to embellish your pages with color and creative design elements. All activities will take place outdoors in Garden. Bring the following materials: sketchbook or loose paper, a pencil, and any art materials you have—watercolor, color pencils, color pens, or markers. All other embellishing materials will be provided. Class will be moved to rain date in the case of inclement weather; the rain date is Wednesday, August 18 | 10 a.m.–12:30 a.m.
