For more than 450 million years, plants have dominated Earth’s landscape by adapting to changes in the environment. This course examines the origin and evolution of plants over geologic time, from their humble beginnings to the rise of the first forests to the diversification of flowering plants.
This course is an elective for the Certificate in Horticulture and not required. It is open to all, including to those enrolled in the Certificate in Horticulture program. For more information, please visit the Certificate in Horticulture webpage.

In advance of class, show registration confirmation for free admission to the Garden. For drivers, the parking lot is located at 900 Washington Avenue. Allow 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the Education building. |

Registration for Winter/Spring Continuing Education classes will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 4.
