Paul Cézanne is often considered the “father of modern art,” as he introduced elements of abstraction into his paintings. Hilma af Klint, Paul Klee, and Wassily Kandinsky followed with images probing mind and psyche. In this class, brief studies along with hands-on watercolor exercises will help us develop a deeper appreciation for abstract painting.

In advance of class, show registration confirmation for free admission to the Garden. For drivers, the parking lot is located at 900 Washington Avenue. Allow 10 minutes to walk from the parking lot to the Education building. |
