Worm Composting in the Classroom for Educators


Working with worms in the classroom is a great hands-on way to teach ecology, recycling, and gardening. Learn how to set up and maintain a worm bin. For information about buying worms at this workshop, email compost@bbg.org at least 2 weeks in advance.

Notes:Class size is limited & there may be a waiting list of people who would like to attend. If you can't attend class, thank you for calling 718-623-7220 to cancel your registration so that someone else may take your place. Please bring this confirmation for Garden admission. The Security Guard in the lobby of the Administration Bldg. at 1000 Washington Avenue will direct you to your classroom.

Registration for Winter/Spring Continuing Education classes will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 4.

In order to receive a refund, you must cancel your enrollment at least five business days prior to the class start date. You will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. No Exceptions.
