Bark and Buds Winter Walk
Class: Bark and Buds Winter Walk. Photo by Aaron Burden.
Walk the wintery grounds of BBG to learn about tree ID. Evergreens are the most prominent trees this time of year, so we’ll focus on them, with a bit on identifying deciduous trees without their leaves, including bark, branch arrangement, and buds. We will also discuss some botany basics as well as touch on medicinal uses and other points of interest.
