Field Investigators - Section B (Gr. 6-8)


For Students Entering 6th through 8th Grades

Become a steward of the earth! Field Investigators conduct experiments, collect data, research current ecological topics, and work on team projects. In this field studies program, kids expand knowledge of plant and earth science by exploring exciting habitats at BBG.

Meets:Tu, Th and F from 1:00 PM to 3:30 PM
Member Fee:$ 225.00
Nonmember Fee:$ 275.00
Notes:Class meets on Aug. 1, 3, 4, 8, 10, 11, 15, 17, 18. Time will be spent indoors and outdoors. Prepare for the sun by bringing a hat, sunblock, and a water bottle. If participating in City Farmers, send lunch. If not participating in the City Farmers program, drop-off is in the lobby at 1000 Washington Ave at 1pm. Pick up is at Magnolia Plaza at 3pm. Charges will be added for late pick up. Caregivers: Please bring class confirmation for Garden admission, and remember that classes start and end on time.

Registration for Winter/Spring Continuing Education classes will open at 9 a.m. on Monday, December 4.

In order to receive a refund, you must cancel your enrollment at least five business days prior to the class start date. You will be charged a $15 cancellation fee. No Exceptions.
