Urban Garden Maintenance
Professional horticulturists teach you the ins and outs of maintaining a city garden. Master the tools and techniques for plant care, pruning, planting, transplanting, and other essential tasks. Learn about site assessment, maintaining flower borders, trees, shrubs, containers, grass, and groundcovers. Each class session focuses on a different maintenance topic.

|Notes:||6 Thursdays. There is no class on Thursday, July 4. Horticulture Certificate Guidelines June 20- Site Assessment; June 27- Turf & Ground Covers; July 11 - Flower Beds; July 18- Pruning; July 25- Tools & Equipment; August 1- Container Gardening. All classes will spend time outside. Dress appropriately for the weather. If you have pruners (secateurs), bring them to class on both July 18th and July 25th. You will learn how to clean and sharpen pruners on the 25th.|
